KOERS

KOERS is a young band of musicians from Lleida formed in September 2014 with a very personal and particular proposal, making musical innovations such as mixtures of Jamaican reggae, modern reggae and reggae with some influences from African sounds.

From the beginning, his mestizo nature brings originality and freshness to his songs. The name of the group 'KOERS', in Afrikaans language means "RHYTHM", but KOERS is also groove, it is energy, it is color and message. Koers is essentially a roots formation, traveling from new wave, dub, pop, rock but always passing through its trademark reggae filter.

Groove, New Wave, Dub, Pop and Rock are mixed with its more rooted reggae essence, which together with the vitalist message of its lyrics are the trademark of the house. A high-quality combo that makes a loyal audience vibrate and move, already filling pavilions to enjoy them and singing all their songs in unison.

Their album “Unbroken” published in 2018, playing on the main radio and television stations, has placed them as the national representatives of state reggae with the greatest projection at the moment. A debut album and tour to frame that has brought its proposal closer to hundreds of thousands of people, making them even become the composers and performers of the TV3 summer song of 2018.

At the beginning of 2019 they released their EP “Des de les Cendres” with five songs and launched a new tour in which they visited many renowned festivals and stages. Starting from a more pronounced «Roots» style, they travel again through diverse styles within the classic Jamaican cultural sphere and purely African essences. Dani Macaco and Sr.Wilson have joined this latest work on their journey, who have collaborated and put their hearts into the project. As a result of this last journey, they have obtained nothing more and nothing less than more than 3.5 million visits in their video clip «Vuela» with Macaco and a pronounced response from their followers.

In April 2020 they publish their latest work "That Day", a CD with twelve songs that made many people vibrate, supporting and encouraging an entire society affected by the pandemic. Koers did not stop at the concert stop, and he delivered his promise in the form of music and love for all the families confined to their homes.

«That Day» breaks ground with his Afrobeat in Catalan providing culture and maturity accompanied by many collaborations; Itaca Band, Lil Dami and Catarres. In this last work they stand out, "Ballarem" Single from the Album followed by "Som" which had repercussions and with a very important role in the most important radio stations nationwide, as well as the top 40 and Flaixback in which they continue to play today. today.

On their Spotify network they accumulate more than 6 million listeners to their songs, and more than 30 thousand monthly listeners today, whose listeners are growing day by day.

Soon we will finally have a new adventure in which they enter after a reborn Koers, a new work that heralds a new era since their last journey 2 years ago. “El Teu Amor” single released at the beginning of the year 2022 announces a change, and an evolution of which we will see how it ends.
